     Chapter one discussed computers, data, information, input & output devices, system unit, Storage devices, communication devices, networks, the internet, websites, and webpage. Also, There are computersoftware’s, which has two categories of software. They are system Software and application software. The system Software has two types of system software that are operating system and utility Programs. The chapter includes installing and running programs. Categories of computers are Classify in seven classifications. They are desktop, mobile computers, mobile devices, games consoles, servers, mainframes, supercomputers and embedded computers. Each title or computer functioned are defined in
detail. During our in class time, our Prof. lectured about the first computers in the State of IL and CA. I will not define each device and computer categories at this time.
     Our lectures covered software in three parts that are system, application and Development step by step in the 1940's throughout to 2010, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, IBM, And the Thomas theorist in the 1960's were the men who played a major role in Computer Language and technology in the 1940's tubes were used in the mother broad In the System Unit. Next was the transmitters, muss chips, semi conductor or (transistor) and the Magnetic Core. The RAM, The Random Access memory is the primary storage that all the Same. A 1000 billion is a Trillion. 1 byte= 8 bite. 3/2 billion bytes vs. bits. The central processing Unit is a traffic cop that oversees all ILO. The letter T changes to a number of 0 or 1 or Letters. G Means how many pulse per sec. Program step by steinstructions.TheRAM is under the CPU. The C drive is magnetic. In the input device is the mouse, the keyboard, the digitalcamera. The Output devices are the Monitor, speaker and the printer.
     This is an overview of our chapter one lesson. Today's technology with theComputers allow the US. And the rest of the world to live our daily lives better than in the past. Although there are still some disadvantages that user’s experience when Working with computers.
